The company’s operating assets totalled 246.9 million marka at the end of September, up from 242.6 million marka nine months earlier.
Its shares closed at 1.17 marka on Wednesday, down from 1.30 marka at the previous close on Monday. The statement was issued after the close of trading on Wednesday.
Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu comprises three hydropower plants on the river Vrbas in the western part of the Serb Republic, which together with the Muslim-Croat Federation forms war-divided Bosnia. With a combined installed capacity of 188 megawatts and an average annual production of 414.5 gigawatt hours (gWh) of electricity, it is one of the three big hydropower plant groups in the Serb Republic. The other two groups are located along the Trebisnjica and Drina rivers.
The Serb Republic has also two coal mine and power plant complexes - Ugljevik in northeastern Bosnia and Gacko in southern Bosnia - whose plants have generation capacity of 300 megawatts each.
