Comparative figures were unavailable.

The company turned to a loss of 13.30 million marka in 2007 from a net profit of 2.46 million marka the previous year.

Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici’s assets totalled 1.006 billion marka at the end of September, down from 1.008 billion marka at the end of 2007, it said in its nine-month financial statement sent to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).

The company stock on BLSE closed at 0.365 marka on Monday, unchanged from the previous trading on October 30.

Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici, comprising three hydropower plants along the Trebisnjica river, is located in the southern part of the Serb Republic, which together with the Muslim-Croat Federation forms war-divided Bosnia.

The complex is one of three hydropower plant groups in the Serb Republic and has a combined installed capacity of 404 megawatts. The other two groups are located along the Drina and Vrbas rivers.

The Serb Republic has also two coal mine and power plant complexes - Ugljevik in northeastern Bosnia and Gacko in southern Bosnia - whose plants have generation capacity of 300 megawatts each.
