Bosnian Electrodes Maker Elvaco Swings to Jan-Sept Loss - Table

November 3 (SeeNews) - Elvaco, a Bosnian producer of welding electrodes and steel reinforcements for construction, turned to a loss of some 343,000 marka ($227,000/175,000 euro) in the nine months of 2008 from a net profit of 2,870 marka a year earlier, figures showed on Monday.

Elvaco’s assets totalled 16.4 million marka at the end of September, unchanged from nine months earlier. Its shares closed at 0.531 marka on Monday, down from 0.590 marka at the previous trading on July 28.

Elvaco is based in Bijeljina, in the eastern part of the Serb Republic, which together with the Muslim-Croat Federation forms war-divided Bosnia.
