Bosnian drug maker Bosnalijek posts 9-mo net profit of 2.0 mln euro

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 8 (SeeNews) – Bosnian drug maker Bosnalijek [SAJ:BSNLR] said it posted a net profit of 4.0 million marka ($2.65 million/2.0 million euro) in the first nine months of 2012.

The company provided no comparative figures in a statement issued on Friday but a year ago it reported a nine-month net profit of 5.0 million marka.

In the third quarter alone, net profit amounted to 8.6 million marka.

Total sales amounted to 75.6 million marka through September, including 41.5 million marka generated on markets abroad, the statement said.

Bosnalijek's biggest export market, the Russian Federation, contributed 28.3 million marka in sales proceeds through September, up 42% on the year. The company said it posted sales of 34.1 million marka on its domestic market over the review period.
