Freight traffic in the nine-month period increased by 6.5% to 1,637 tonnes, the Bosnia’s Statistic Office said in a statement on Monday.
In the third quarter alone, passenger traffic rose 19% on the year to 330,936, while freight traffic plunged 21% to 552 tonnes.
Bosnia has four international airports - in the cities of Sarajevo, Mostar and Tuzla in the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of its two entities, and in Banja Luka in the other entity, the Serb Republic.
