The loan has a tenor of 25 years including a six-year grace period and it will be allocated to the Federation entity, the government said in a press release.

The Medakovo - Poprikuse section comprises two subsections: Medakovo - Ozimice and Ozimice - Poprikuse. They include the constrictions of bridges, a tunnel, and resting areas in the period between 2021 and 2025.

The total value of the project is 391 million euro. The remainder will be provided from the country's budget or other sources, the government said.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.

European Corridor Vc connects the port of Ploce in Croatia with the Hungarian capital Budapest via Bosnia.
