The statistics office has ceased to issue monthly figures for the value of construction works since the beginning of 2008. Construction output was valued at 38.50 million marka ($28.5 million/20.9 million euro) in August 2007.
In the eight months of 2008, the value of construction works rose by an annual 6.4%, the statistics office said.
