November 19 (SeeNews) - Following is a schedule of corporate, economic and political events taking place in or related to Bosnia and Herzegovina through January 9. New or amended entries are marked (*).

* Wednesday, November 19 – Sarajevo: The lower chamber of Bosnia’s central parliament continues its session from November 5; to discuss, among other things, reform in the country’s public radio and TV service.

* Wednesday, November 19 – Banja Luka: The Serb Republic’s taxation authority to hold a news conference. (0900 GMT)

* Wednesday, November 19 – Banja Luka: Businessmen from Bosnia’s Banja Luka region to meet counterparts from Serbia’s Northern Backa region in the province of Vojvodina. (0900 GMT)

* Wednesday, November 19 – Banja Luka: The Banja Luka local parliament to hold a session; to elect speaker and deputy speaker and deputy mayor. (0900 GMT)

* Wednesday, November 19 – Banja Luka: The Serb Republic’s agriculture ministry and veterinary authorities to hold a news conference on fighting brucellosis. (1000 GMT)

* Wednesday, November 19 – Moscow (Russia): The Serb Republic parliament speaker Igor Radojicic on a visit to Russia; to meet top Russian government officials.

Wednesday, November 19 – Brussels (Belgium): The Steering Board of Bosnia’s Peace Implementation Council (PIC), which comprises representatives of all countries and international organisations involved in the peace process in Bosnia, to hold a two-day session; to meet Bosnia’s government and political leaders and discuss the country’s progress.

Thursday, November 20 – Brussels (Belgium): The top international peace overseer in Bosnia, Miroslav Lajcak, to hold a news conference on the conclusions of the PIC session held on Wednesday and Thursday. (1330 GMT)

* Thursday, November 20 – Belgrade (Serbia): The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank’s private sector arm, organises a one-day regional conference for Southeast Europe, Recycling Linkages Summit. (0800 GMT)

Thursday, November 20 – Ohrid (Macedonia): The 5th Regional Economic Forum for Southeast Europe (REFSEE) opens. (to November 21)

Friday, November 21: Day of the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement that ended the 1992-95 war in Bosnia; public and market holiday in the Serb Republic.

Tuesday, November 25: Statehood Day; public and market holiday in the Muslim-Croat Federation.
