November 11 (SeeNews) - Following is a schedule of corporate, economic and political events taking place in or related to Bosnia and Herzegovina through January 9. New or amended entries are marked (*).

* Tuesday, November 11 – Sarajevo: A one-day conference, Parliament for Europe, opens; expected to be attended by the Director for the Western Balkans in the European Commission’s Directorate General for Enlargement, Pierre Mirel, other EU and Bosnian parliamentary officials.

* Tuesday, November 11 – Sarajevo: The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) to present a 3.9 million marka ($2.5 million/2.0 million euro) project for youth employment in Bosnia. (1100 GMT)

* Tuesday, November 11 – Banja Luka: The Serb Republic parliament to hold a session. (0900 GMT)

* Tuesday, November 11 – Stuttgart (Germany): The Serb Republic Prime Minister Milorad Dodik heads a government delegation on a visit to the German state Baden-Wuerttemberg; to meet the state’s Prime Minister Guenther Oettinger and sign a cooperation agreement between the two regions.

* Tuesday, November 11 – Warsaw (Poland): The chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite presidency, Nebojsa Radmanovic, pays a visit to Poland.

Wednesday, November 12 – Sarajevo: Young people from Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia and government and international officials gather for a two-day conference on youth policies and the status of young people in the process of EU integration.

Thursday, November 13 - Zagreb (Croatia): The first regional economic forum of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) member countries opens. (to September 15)

Tuesday, November 18 - Sarajevo: Bosnia’s Prime Communications agency organises a one-day regional conference on public relations, Sarajevo PR Open.

Thursday, November 20 - Sarajevo: Bosnia’s Peace Implementation Council (PIC), which comprises representatives of all countries and international organisations involved in the peace process in Bosnia, to hold a two-day session.

Thursday, November 20 – Ohrid (Macedonia): The 5th Regional Economic Forum for Southeast Europe (REFSEE) opens. (to November 21)

Friday, November 21: Day of the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement that ended the 1992-95 war in Bosnia; public and market holiday in the Serb Republic.

Tuesday, November 25: Statehood Day; public and market holiday in the Muslim-Croat Federation.

Wednesday, November 26 – Banja Luka: Slovak-owned Bosnian sanitary paper producer SHP Celex to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (1400 GMT)

Saturday, November 29 – Sarajevo: Bosnian construction firm Unioninvest Izgradnja Objekata to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (0900 GMT)

Tuesday, December 2 – Sarajevo: Bosnia’s biggest telco, state-controlled BH Telecom, continues its shareholders’ meeting from October 31. (0900 GMT)

Tuesday, December 2 - Sofia (Bulgaria): The 2nd southeast Europe Financial Services Forum, organised by SeeNews, opens.

* Wednesday, December 3 – Mrkonjic Grad: Bosnian hydropower plant group Vrbas to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (1200 GMT)

Friday, December 5 – Lukavac: A two-day public relations conference gathering industry officials from Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro, PRIBA 2008, opens.

* Friday, December 12 – Tuzla: Bosnian aerated concrete maker Siporex to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (1100 GMT)

Wednesday, December 24: Bosnian Croats celebrate Catholic Christmas Eve; public holiday in the Croat-dominated parts of Bosnia.

Thursday, December 25: Bosnian Croats celebrate Catholic Christmas; public holiday in the Croat-dominated parts of Bosnia (to December 26) and market holiday in the Muslim-Croat Federation.

Thursday, January 1: New Year’s Day; public and market holiday.

Friday, January 2: New Year’s Day; public and market holiday.

Tuesday, January 6: Bosnian Serbs celebrate Orthodox Christmas Eve; public holiday in the Serb Republic.
