January 21 (SeeNews) - Following is a schedule of corporate, economic and political events taking place in or related to Bosnia and Herzegovina through October 7. New or amended entries are marked (*).

* Wednesday, January 21 – Sarajevo: The lower house of Bosnia’s central parliament to hold a session; to discuss, among other things, the country’s central budget for 2009. (0900 GMT)

* Wednesday, January 21 – Sarajevo: The Muslim-Croat Federation government to hold a meeting. (0900 GMT; news conference at 1200 GMT)

* Wednesday, January 21 – Banja Luka: The Serb Republic Labour Minister Bosko Tomic to hold a news conference. (1000 GMT)

* Wednesday, January 21 – Brussels (Belgium): The chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite presidency, Nebojsa Radmanovic, to meet the European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana.

* Wednesday, January 21 – Brussels (Belgium): The top international peace envoy in Bosnia, Miroslav Lajcak, to inform EU officials on Bosnia’s reform progress; to address a meeting between EU and Bosnian parliamentary officials.

* Monday, January 26 – Banja Luka: The leaders of Bosnia’s main political parties expected to meet to discuss amendments to the country’s constitution.

Monday, January 26 – Bijeljina: Bosnian insurer Bobar Osiguranje to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (1200 GMT)

* Wednesday, January 28 – Sarajevo: The top international peace envoy in Bosnia, Miroslav Lajcak, to address the two houses of the central parliament. (0900 GMT)

Thursday, January 29 – Lukavac: Bosnian cement plant Fabrika Cementa Lukavac, controlled by Austrian building materials maker Asamer Holding, to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (0700 GMT)

Friday, January 30 – Banja Luka: Bosnia’s second-largest telco Telekom Srpske, majority-owned by Serbia’s state-owned telecoms operator Telekom Srbija, to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (1000 GMT)

Sunday, February 11 – Sarajevo: Turkish Ziraat Bank Bosnia to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (1000 GMT)

Monday, February 12 – Sarajevo: The Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) to hold a shareholders’ meeting. (1300) GMT)
