August 17 (SeeNews) - The industrial output of Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation in July fell by 11.6% year-on-year and was 1.4% up on the month, official statistics indicated on Monday.
In the first seven months of 2009 the Federation's industrial output shrank by 10.6% on the year, the statistics office said in a statement.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous parts forming Bosnia. The other part is the Serb Republic.
The output of durable consumer goods fell by an annual 9.5% in July. Non-durable consumer goods production was 7.1% lower and production of semi-finished goods was down 14.1%. Production of capital goods dropped by an annual 9.5%, while energy output contracted by 7.0% in July.
Mining industry output in the Federation decreased by a yearly 8.6% in July. The processing industry index declined by 14.6%, while the supply of electricity, gas and water fell by 4.7%, the statistics office said.

The industrial output of the Federation rose by 7.9% last year after increasing by 9.1% in 2007.
