November 17 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of commercial banks operating in Bosnia decreased to 14.16 billion marka ($10.79 billion/7.24 billion euro) at the end September from 14.165 billion marka a month earlier, central bank figures showed.
The banks' loan portfolio amounted to 14.4 billion marka at the end of July.

The banks' deposit portfolio dropped to 11.97 billion marka in September from 12.02 billion marka a month earlier.
Bosnia's 30 commercial banks serve a market of some 3.8 million people.
The Bosnian convertible marka is pegged at a fixed exchange rate of 1.95583 to the euro under a currency board system.
