Bosnia commercial banks end-Nov loan portfolio rises 2.2% y/y

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 31 (SeeNews) – The loan portfolio of commercial banks operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 16.303 billion marka ($11.5 billion/8.3 billion euro) in the eleven months through November from 15.949 billion marka a year ago, central bank data indicated.

Long-term loans accounted for 11.980 billion marka of the total in the January-November period, the central bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina said in a statement.

Twenty-eight commercial banks operate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a market of some 3.8 million people.
