Bosnia calls tender for works on Corridor Vc motorway section - EBRD

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 21 (SeeNews) – The state motorway company of Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation, JP Autoceste FBiH, has called a tender for works on a Corridor Vc motorway section, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), set to back the project, said on Friday.

The contract involves the completion of concrete structure and highway pavement in the Vijenac tunnel on motorway subsection Gorica–Biljesevo, part of motorway section Drivusa-Kakanj, the EBRD said in a tender notice.

Bids should be sent by February 14, 2013.

The tendered works should be completed within 12 months.

JP Autoceste FBiH intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to finance the project.

Pan-European Corridor Vc connects Hungary with the Adriatic Sea coast via Bosnia and Croatia.

The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
