Bosnia Banks End-Aug Loan Portfolio Up 1.2% M/M to 7.239 Bln Euro - Table

October 1 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of commercial banks operating in Bosnia rose to 14.159 billion marka ($10.456 billion/7.239 billion euro) at the end of August from 13.996 billion marka a month earlier, central bank figures showed on Wednesday.

Commercial banks' loan portfolio totalled 13.748 billion marka at the end of June.

NOTES: Bosnia's 27 commercial banks serve a market of some 3.8 million people.

The commercial banks' deposit portfolio rose to some 12.861 billion marka at the end of August from 12.752 billion marka a month before.

The Bosnian convertible marka is pegged at a fixed exchange rate of 1.95583 to the euro under a currency board system.
