- Three of the six railway workers’ trade unions in Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation held a strike on Monday after talks with the management of railway company Zeljeznica FBiH on payment of wage arrears, money for hot meals and adoption of new jobs regulations failed, the daily reported.

DNEVNI AVAZ

- The number of A/H1N1 virus infections in the Muslim-Croat Federation has reached 35, the daily said. Eleven cases have been registered in the Serb Republic.

- Aircraft traffic at Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation airports rose an annual 5.1% in the first nine months of the year, while passenger numbers climbed 4.0% and transported cargo dropped 1.0% in the same period, the daily said. In the railway transport the number of passengers fell 11% on the year to 353,000 in January-September with cargo volume decreasing 20% to 5.0 million tonnes.
