November 20 (SeeNews) - Seven block trades in shares in Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] formed nearly 73% of the regulated market turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Tuesday, as the chemicals producer led blue-chip gainers at the end of the session, bourse data shows.
A total of 33,000 shares in Cinkarna Celje changed hands in the seven deals worth a total of 7.92 million euro ($9.03 million). A further 606 shares in the company changed hands in 19 deals, bringing the total value of deals in the stock for the day to 8.06 million euro.
Cinkarna Celje ended the session 1.78% higher at 229.0 euro.
Total trading turnover soared nearly tenfold to 10.86 million euro on Tuesday from 1.1 million euro on Monday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] contributed a further 1.64 million euro to the total turnover on Tuesday.
Reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] fell most among blue chips, closing 1.32% lower at 15.0 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, lost 0.35% to an end value of 814.82 points.
