LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 24 (SeeNews) – A block deal in the shares of drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the bulk of trading turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Krka generated a turnover of 1.4 million euro ($1.6 million), including a 1.2 million euro block deal for 20,000 shares. Krka shares closed 0.24% higher at 57.54 euro.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE decreased to 1.7 million euro on Thursday from 10.1 million euro on Wednesday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on LJSE, rose 0.90% to 828.68 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index increased 0.58%.
Logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] was the top blue-chip gainer on Thursday, closing 3.96% higher at 1.89 euro.
Finance company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] fell the most among blue chips, as it closed 2.78% lower at 7.0 euro.
