Belgrade stock exchange indices rise, NIS leads gainers

November 7 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as stock indices went up, bourse data showed.

A total of 18,531 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 12.0 million dinars. NIS closed up 2.20% at 650 dinars.

The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.98% at 787.52 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.47% at 1,734.08.

The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 17.3 million dinars ($148,000/147,500 euro) on Monday, up from 14.6 million dinars on Friday, as 121 transactions were carried out.

Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.3 million dinars.
