August 18 (SeeNews) - Household appliances maker Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices went up, bourse data showed.
A total of four Alfa Plam shares changed hands in a turnover of 95,600 dinars. Alfa Plam closed up 29.19% at 23,900 dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover of 5.85 million dinars among the blue-chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.54% at 846.18 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.87% at 1,701.87.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 8.5 million dinars ($73,400/72,500 euro) on Thursday, down from 13.5 million dinars on Wednesday, as 99 transactions were carried out.
