Belgrade Share Indices Mostly Edge Up, Turnover Drops

BELGRADE (Serbia), November 18 (SeeNews) – Belgrade share indices mostly edged up on Wednesday in lower turnover, stock exchange data showed.

Belgrade Share Indices Mostly Edge Up, Turnover Drops

The Belgrade bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 index ticked up 0.13% to 727.07 points after losing 1.08% a day earlier.

The broader BELEXline index backed off by 0.33% to 1,401.83 points after shedding 0.93% on Tuesday.

The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna gained 1.1% to 328.15.

The bourse's total turnover tumbled to 41 million dinars ($649,674/433,694 euro) from 99 million dinars on Tuesday.

Power equipment producer Elektromontaza led the advancers, gaining 18.92% to 4,400 dinars.

Construction firm Progres paced the losers, sliding 8.26% to 100 dinars.

Fish farm Ecka tumbled 12% to end at 1,364 dinars, posting the day’s highest turnover of 10.3 million dinars.

Blue chip engineering holding company Energoprojekt recorded the day's second highest turnover of 3.8 million dinars, shedding 1.06% to end at 936 dinars.

Fallers outnumbered climbers 31 to 14, while the shares of 13 companies remained flat on Wednesday.
