Belgrade Share Indices Continue Drop, Turnover Down

BELGRADE (Serbia), September 3 (SeeNews) – Belgrade share indices fell in lower turnover on Thursday as the pace of decline slowed from the previous session, bourse data showed.
 
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange edged down 0.93% to 688.97 points after falling 2.48% on Wednesday. The broader BELEXline index ticked down 0.79% to 1,321.56 points after shedding 1.73% a day earlier.

Belgrade Share Indices Continue Drop, Turnover Down

The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna backed off 1.25% to 312.13 on Thursday.

The Belgrade bourse's total turnover fell to 33 million dinars ($510,155/355,856 euro) from 43 million dinars on Wednesday. Trade in government securities accounted for 1.2 million dinars of turnover on Thursday, down from 3.0 million a day earlier. 

Blue-chip lender Komercijalna Banka fell 2.62% to 33,500 dinars in the highest turnover of 10.7 million dinars.

Its blue-chip peer Privredna Banka was the biggest gainer on Thursday, adding 2.29% to 669 dinars.

Industrial gas producer Messer Tehnogas posted the biggest loss, dropping 6.96% to 5,210 dinars.

Thirteen stocks advanced on Thursday, 21 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
