September 25 (SeeNews) - Belgrade city government has invited bids for the construction of a hospital in Borca suburb, deputy mayor Goran Vesic has said.
The total investment in the project will stand at 650 million dinars ($6.1 million/5.5 million euro) and the construction of the hospital will last for 12 months, Vesic said in a statement by the city government on Tuesday.
"The funding for the construction of the hospital has been provided mainly by the Republic of Serbia, since these health institutions have become the jurisdiction of the Republic since June," Vesic said.
The tenders for the construction of the hospital will be opened on October 28, the Belgrade city secretary for investments, Luka Petrovic, said in a separate statement on Tuesday.
The preliminary design for the construction of the hospital was prepared by Serbian company Krip Inzenjering.
