Belgrade bourse's BELEX15 inches up, lifted by NIS

June 10 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed higher on Monday, lifted by gains in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], bourse data showed.

BELEX15 added 0.13% to close at 988.66 points.

NIS gained 1.34% to 832 dinars at close on a turnover of 4,451 shares.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] was the sole blue-chip decliner, shedding 0.84% to close at 950 dinars.

Outside the blue chips, hydraulic fittings manufacturer PPT Armature [BEL:PPTA] was responsible for almost half of the day's total turnover, jumping 20.47% to close at 518 dinars, with 10,343 shares traded in 13 transactions.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.05% higher at 2,199.28 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse increased to 11.2 million dinars ($100,900/94,000 euro) on Monday from 7.1 million dinars on Friday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 1.5 million dinars of Monday's turnover versus 5.0 million dinars on Friday.
