Belgrade bourse's BELEX15 gains more ground, all blue chips rise

June 11 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, as all traded blue-chip companies closed the session higher, bourse data showed.

BELEX15 added 0.1.14% to close at 999.89 points.

Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip gainers by gaining 4.40% to 1,780 dinars at close on a volume of 3 traded shares.

Blue-chip oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the single highest turnover for the day, rising 0.96% to 840 dinars in a 5.3 million dinars of turnover.

Another blue-chip heavyweight - insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS], advanced by 2.42% to 973 dinars in the second-highest turnover on Tuesday, reaching almost 1.1 million dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.96% higher at 2,220.47 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse increased to 7.9 million dinars ($73,300/68,300 euro) on Tuesday from 11.2 million dinars on Friday. There was no trading in Treasury bonds on Tuesday. On Monday, they generated 1.5 million dinars of the total turnover.
