BELGRADE (Serbia), September 24 (SeeNews) – Serbian stock indices fell in decreased daily turnover on Monday, bourse data indicated.

Belgrade bourse stock indices drop

The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange fell 0.48% to 435.48 points after rising 0.39% on Friday.

The broader BELEXline dropped 0.37% to 862.66 points after increasing 0.48% in the previous trading session.

The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna lost 0.80% in euro terms to 131.19 points after adding 0.65% on Friday.

Total turnover fell to 18.7 million dinars ($209,000/162,000 euro) from 20.7 million dinars on Friday.

Baking company Polet generated Monday’s largest turnover of 5.2 million dinars. The stock closed flat at 870 dinars.

The preferred stock of BIP led the gainers, adding 12.90% to 35 dinars in a volume of 600 shares.

Soybean producer Soja protein paced the decliners, losing 7.13% to 417 dinars in a volume of 1,888 shares.
