Belgrade bourse BELEX15 sheds 0.17%, Impol plunges

May 29 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.17% lower at 996.38 points on Wednesday, as aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] paced the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.

Impol closed 6.67% lower at 7,000 dinars in a volume of 159 shares.

Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers, adding 0.83% to 848 dinars. A total of 2,830 NIS shares changed hands generating the day' largest turnover of 2.4 million dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed 0.28% lower at 2,204.34 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 6.9 million dinars ($61,800/58,650 euro) on Wednesday from 9.7 million dinars on Tuesday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 853,486 dinars of Wednesday's turnover.
