“This result is mainly due to the performance of flag carrier Air Serbia has which has transported a record number of passengers as well as significant traffic at other partner airlines,” CEO of Belgrade Airport, Francois Berisot, was quoted as saying by media outlet Danas.

In 2022, a total of 5.610 million passengers passed through the Belgrade airport, up 71% year-on-year.

Vinci Airports took over the management of the airport in December 2018.
