Belgrade airport sees passengers at 3.5 mln in 2013, up 60% in 2014 - media

December 30 (SeeNews) - The operator of Belgrade's Nikola Tesla airport expects to post record passenger traffic of 3.54 million in 2013, local media reported.

With the launch of services by rebranded national flag carrier Air Serbia, traffic could increase by over 60% next year, state-run broadcaster RTS reported on Sunday, quoting the director of Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], Velimir Radosavljevic.

Investments in the airport this year added up to several tens of millions of euro, RTS said.

Passenger numbers at Nikola Tesla international airport rose 7.7% to over 3.36 million in 2012.
