Belgrade airport awards passenger boarding bridges deal to Chinese co

December 14 (SeeNews) - The operator of the Belgrade airport said it has awarded a 2.19 million euro ($2.9 million) deal for the supply of passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) to China's Shenzhen CIMC-TianDA Airport Support.

The purchase of six PBBs, to be phased into service over the next 12 months, replacing outmoded infrastructure currently in place, will be financed with own funds, the airport operator said in a statement on Thursday.

The contract was awarded on a competitive basis.
