April 1 (SeeNews) - Belgian logistics property developer Warehouses de Pauw (WDP) has acquired Romania's longest-standing wholesale centre Doraly Expo Market from real estate investment manager ARA Europe and Romanian investor Gheorghe Iaciu, said real estate consultancy and deal broker iO Partners on Monday.
Located in Bucharest, Doraly Expo Market was founded by Iaciu in 1993 and spans 110,000 sq m, hosting over 400 traders, iO Partners said in a press release.

Financial details were not disclosed.
Iaciu and the current property management team will continue to manage the project together with WDP, which will perform Doraly's asset management, according to the statement.
iO Partners CEE head of capital markets Andrei Vacaru said the real estate consultancy closed transactions worth almost 300 million euro ($323.6 million) in the first quarter of 2024.
Based in Vienna, iO Partners offers real-estate consultancy services in Romania, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
WDP develops and invests in logistics property, namely warehouses and offices and has a property portfolio of around 7 million sq m at prime logistics locations for storage and distribution in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and Romania. In Romania alone, it has a property portfolio of almost 1.7 million sq m.
