BELEX15 opens week lower, Jedinstvo loses most

June 3 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed lower on Monday, dragged down by losses in construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV], bourse data showed.

The BELEX15 fell 0.26% to close at 992.76 points.

Jedinstvo lost 5.77% to 7,009 dinars at close, with 100 shares changing hands.

Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the sole gainer for the day, adding 0.35% to close at 852 dinars. It generated the highest daily turnover of 2.4 million dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also fell, closing 0.39% lower at 2,195.43 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 11.5 million dinars ($111,500/102,500 euro) on Monday from 20.8 million dinars on Friday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 7.6 million dinars of Monday's turnover versus 15.7 million dinars on Friday.
