Metalac closed 2.74% higher at 1,798 dinars in a volume of 165 shares.
At the opposite end, oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 0.46% to 865 dinars. A total of 2,488 NIS shares changed hands in the largest turnover for Wednesday, of 2.1 million dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.27% higher at 2,195.13 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 4.8 million dinars ($44,500/41,100 euro) on Wednesday from 11.9 million dinars on Tuesday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 247,839 dinars of Wednesday's turnover.
