BELEX15 extends gains, Impol shines

March 29 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.45% higher at 989.95 points on Friday, rising for a sixth straight day, as aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.

Impol added 2.63% to 5,850 dinars. Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] closed 1.90% higher at 860 dinars.

There were no losers among the blue-chip components on Friday.

Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 24 Messer shares changed hands in a turnover of 596,400 dinars. Messer closed flat at 24,850 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index rose 0.92% to 2,162.70 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 8.7 million dinars ($80,300/74,400 euro) on Friday from 9 million dinars on Thursday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 5.2 million dinars of Friday's turnover.

Between March 25 and March 29 the BELEX15 rose 2.17% while the BELEXline increased 2.82%. Total trading turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange fell to 755.2 million dinars this week, from 756.3 billion dinars last week.
