BELEX15 ends winning streak, Messer leads losers

April 1 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.64% lower at 983.60 points on Monday, ending a six-day winning streak, with cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.

Metalac closed 4.18% lower at 1,580 dinars in a volume of 175 shares.

Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] was the day's only blue-chip gainer, adding 0.60% to 25,000 dinars.

Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the day's highest turnover. A total of 167 Aerodrom shares changed hands in a turnover of 300,600 dinars. Aerodrom closed 0.06% lower at 1,800 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also fell, closing 0.53% lower at 2,151.33 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 2.8 million dinars ($25,800/24,000 euro) on Monday from 8.7 million dinars on Friday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 1.3 million dinars of Monday's turnover.
