BELEX15 adds 1.58%, Aerodrom surges

December 1 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 1.58% higher at 891.55 points on Friday, as Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.

Aerodrom closed 8.59% higher at 1,821 dinars. Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] added 1.23% to 15,700 dinars.

At the other end, oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners, closing 0.49% lower at 811 dinars.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 581 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 569,593 dinars. Dunav closed 0.10% lower at 980 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 1.27% higher at 1,892.39 points.

The total turnover of the Belgrade bourse fell to 1.2 million dinars ($11,400/10,500 euro) on Friday from 3.4 million dinars on Thursday. There was no trading in Treasury bonds on Friday.

Between November 27 and December 1, the BELEX15 increased 1.41%, while the BELEXline rose 2.13%. Total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange fell to 44.4 million dinars this week, from 497.3 million dinars last week.
