April 9 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) said it will launch a regular service to Romania's capital Bucharest starting June 3.
"The introduction of AZAL flights to Bucharest will enhance connections and promote the expansion of tourism, cultural, and business opportunities between Azerbaijan and Romania," the company said in a press release on Monday.
The airline will operate flights from Azerbaijan's capital Baku to Bucharest twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
AZAL is planning to introduce flights to Bulgaria's capital Sofia in the near future as well, as per the statement. This service will also be operated twice a week.
