Dick will replace Jorg Sollfelner, whose five-year term in office expires as of January 1, EVN Bulgaria said in a press release.

Dick has more than eight years of managerial experience with EVN AG. Since October 2007 he has been serving as head of controlling at the Austrian group.

Sollfelner will continue to work for EVN AG in a managerial position in Austria in the area of electricity and natural gas sales.

EVN set foot on the Bulgarian market in 2005 with the acquisition of power distribution assets. As the power distributor for Plovdiv, the second largest city in the country, and the region of southeastern Bulgaria, it supplies electricity to some 1.6 million customers.
