Atlantic Grupa buoys Croatian equity indices

April 22 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended slightly higher on Monday, backed by gains in consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR], bourse data showed.

The 21-share benchmark CROBEX added 0.14% to close at 2,803.42 points.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.11% to 1,700.41 points.

In regular trading, ordinary shares of power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori (Koncar D&ST) [ZSE:KODT] were the most traded stock with a turnover of almost 160,000 ($170,000) as they rose 0.69% to 1,450 euro. They are part of the wider equity index.

Blue-chip shares of Atlantic Grupa appreciated 0.88% to 57 euro in a turnover of 141,200 euro. Besides, in a block trading, 20,000 of its shares changed hands at a price of 56.50 euro per share in a turnover of 1.1 million euro.

Boosted by this block deal, the total turnover reached 2.3 million euro from almost 2.0 million euro on Friday.
