Assets of investment funds in N. Macedonia up 21.75% y/y in 2023

February 8 (SeeNews) - The assets managed by the investment funds operating in North Macedonia grew by an annual 21.75% to 13.5 billion denars ($235.7 million/219.3 million euro) in 2023, the country's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said.

The assets managed by North Macedonia-based investment funds were 9.65% higher at the end of December compared to the previous quarter, the SEC said in a quarterly report last week.

There were five investment fund management companies operating a total of 22 investment funds in North Macedonia as of the end of 2023, unchanged from the end of September.
