Assets of investment funds in Bulgaria grow 20% y/y at end-Sept

November 20 (SeeNews) - The assets of investment funds operating in Bulgaria increased by an annual 20% to 5.25 billion levs ($3.2 billion/2.7 billion euro) at the end of September, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said on Friday.

Compared to the end of June, the assets of investment funds operating in the country were 12.2% higher at the end of September, the central bank said in a statement.

The assets of resident investment funds increased 1.5% year-on-year to 1.68 billion levs at the end of September, while the assets of non-resident funds grew by 31.4% to 3.57 billion levs.
