Assets of Bulgaria’s Haskovo-Tabac put up for sale for 3.5 mln euro

December 17 (SeeNews) - A private enforcement agent has put up for sale a tobacco processing factory of Bulgarian company Haskovo-Tabac [BUL:4H9] at a starting price of 3.5 million euro ($4.4 million), a public auction notice showed.

Bids for the factory, which has a total floor space of 64,318 square metres, can be placed by January 28 and the winner will be announced on the following day, according to the notice published on the website of the Bulgarian Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents on Tuesday.

Haskovo-Tabac is one of the three units of local tobacco group Bulgartabac Holding [BUL:57B] which are in the process of liquidation. The other two are Asenovgrad-Tabac [BUL:6AD] and Shumen-Tabac [BUL:3JZ]. It was put up for sale for the first time in May 2013 at a starting price of 6.3 million euro.
