October 28 (SeeNews) - Romanian branch of Greece's Alpha Bank said it has leased 5,000 sq m of office space in Globe Trade Centre's (GTC) City Gate office complex, located in Bucharest.
Alpha Bank will be relocating a part of its operations in the City Gate complex starting January 2023, GTC said in a press release on Thursday.
Following the relocation, Alpha Bank Romania will occupy 10% of the entire available space of the City Gate complex.
Earlier this month, GTC announced the investment of 3.5 million euro ($3.5 million) in the refurbishment of the City Gate office complex.
"While every new tenant is extremely important to us, the transaction of the year remains the signing of the contract with Alpha Bank Romania," said Managing Director of GTC's operations in Romania, Ziv Gigi.
Alpha Bank Romania is a universal bank and a member of the Greek Alpha Bank Group, established in 1879. Alpha Bank offers services and products for individuals, as well as for small and medium enterprises and the corporate segment.
GTC Group is a real estate investor and developer, focusing on Poland and capital cities in Central and Eastern Europe. The company manages a portfolio of 44 commercial buildings, with a total leasable area of 761,000 sq m.
