The group’s property/casualty insurance division in Romania recorded an operating profit of 2.0 million euro in the first nine months of the year, up from 1.0 million euro profit a year ago, Allianz said in its interim report on Friday.
Operating profit from local life/health segment stayed flat at 1.0 million euro.
Gross written premiums from property/casualty insurance in Romania fell to 135 million euro in the first nine months of 2012 from 142 million euro a year earlier. Statutory premiums from life/health insurance remained flat on the year at 17 million in January-September.
