Albania’s Tirana opens 1.2 mln euro road tender

February 20 (SeeNews) - The municipality of the Albanian capital Tirana said on Tuesday it has opened tender procedures for a road infrastructure improvement project valued at 129.2 million leks ($1.34 million/1.24 million euro).

The project comprises three components, the construction of bus lanes in different locations across Tirana, the enhancement of central bus stations and the construction of a roundabout aiming to ease congestion in a traffic junction in the municipality of Kamez near the capital, the municipality of Tirana said in tender documents.

The job must be completed within nine months from contract signing.

Offers are to be submitted by March 3.
