Albania's railway operator awards 1 mln euro reconstruction works deals

Civil engineering services provider Beqiri signed a 52.4 million leks contract for the refurbishment of a railway line connecting the town of Rrogozhine to the city of Lushnje, HSH said in a contract notice last week.

A tie-up comprising construction companies BE-IS and Shkelqimi 07 signed a deal worth 51.5 million leks for the reconstruction of a railway line linking the coastal city of Durres to the city of Elbasan.

The renovation for both railway lines should be concluded within six months, tender documents showed earlier.
