TIRANA (Albania), September 23 (SeeNews) – Albania's industrial sales volume increased 4.3% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2019, the country's statistical agency said.

Compared to the previous quarter, industrial sales rose 1.7% in the April-June period, INSTAT said in a quarterly report on Friday.

Albania's Q2 2019 industrial sales, breakdown by sector (percentage change):

- manufacturing 5.3 2.4
- mining and quarrying 1.1 0.7
Electricity, gas and steam -12.6 -3.3
Water supply, waste management 4.6 -3.0
