Albania's Q1 construction cost index rises 3.4% y/y

The increase is chiefly attributed to growing energy expenses, which in the January-March period saw a 7.5% increase, followed by personnel expenses, which added 4.4% and a 3.7% increase in spending for transport, INSTAT said in a quarterly data release.

On a quarterly comparison basis, the index increased by 4.1% in the first quarter of 2024.
