Albania’s power output rises 17.5% y/y in Q3

Albania's power exports dropped 32.5% on the year to 453 GWh in the July-September period, while imports decreased 33.9% to 755 GWh as compared to the same period last year, INSTAT said in a statement.

Some 98.2% of the country's electricity production in the third quarter of 2023 was generated by hydropower plants, with photovoltaics accounting for the remainder.

Grid losses slightly decreased to 327.7 GWh in the third quarter of 2023 from 327.9 GWh in the like period a year earlier.
