The insurance contract covers assets worth 113.3 billion leks as of end-December 2023, over a two-year period, KESH said in a signed contract notice.

Established in 2006 in Tirana, Eurosig operates in Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia, specialising in non-life insurance, according to the company website.

In December, Eurosig said it had completed the buyout of the United Bank of Albania (UBA), becoming its sole owner.
